Do I Really Need Headphones?

It's a Voice Actor's Secret Weapon...

As a voice actor, I practically live in my studio, working on audios and recordings. Headphones are essential in my line of work, and for me, they need to meet two key criteria: comfort and accuracy. That's why I absolutely love my Audio-Technica headphones. They not only come in fantastic colors like red, orange, and blue, which adds a stylish touch to my brand when I'm in front of the camera, but they're also incredibly comfortable. Since I wear them for extended periods, comfort is a big deal for me. These headphones are lightweight and ergonomic, ensuring I can focus on my work without getting a headache or a sore neck. Plus, they come with both long and short cables for flexibility.

Fun Fact: The colors are limited edition. The latest addition is the 'Ice Blue.'

Quality is crucial for a voice actor's headphones. You don't want headphones designed for enhancing music like Beats. Studio headphones like Audio-Technica offer a true and unaltered sound. You want to edit and hear your true voice as it is, without any additional bass, treble, or warmth adjustments. That's why I prefer closed-back headphones. They isolate outside sounds effectively during live directed sessions, preventing feedback into the microphone. While open-back headphones offer comfort and breathability, I stick with closed-back for their comfort.
