Anne is a sought-after voiceover demo coach and producer. She has been honored with multiple Voice Arts and One Voice nominations and Awards for her exceptional work in demo direction and production. Specializing in targeted voiceover demo production, Anne's expertise spans diverse genres such as Commercial, Corporate, Medical, and eLearning. Her accomplished production team consistently crafts award-nominated demos that cater to a wide range of markets. As the creator of the VO BOSS podcast, Anne received the prestigious SOVAS Outstanding Podcast award in 2022.
DEDICATION, LEADERSHIP & DRIVE
Anne’s undeniable passion for voiceover and sharing her knowledge with others led her to a full time career in voiceovers and inspired her to form the local meetup group for voice over artists affectionately known as the VO PEEPS. Her founding mission? Network with other voice over artists and industry professionals and provide continuing education initiatives focused on growing members’ voice over skills and their voice-over businesses. Each VO Peeps meet-up features educational segments with leading industry professionals and covers a wide variety of topics relevant to helping members succeed in the business. In January 2012, Anne created the VO Peeps Career Education Scholarship Fund – a fund dedicated to both need and merit-based scholarships given to qualified members of the voiceover community. Since its inception, this fund has awarded over $32,800 in monies and scholarships to deserving individuals.
Anne currently teaches workshops and voice over classes in Orange County and Los Angeles County, CA, and offers private coaching and mentoring to students in person, as well as via Skype and ipDTL.
She currently is owner and founder of VO BOSS and co-hosts a weekly podcast on voiceover business strategies for success. The podcast blends solid, actionable business advice with a dose of inspiration for today’s voiceover talent.
Anne also co-hosts a monthly Rates Roundtable Webinar with top industry leaders promoting Fair Rates in the industry.
TRAINING & EXPERTISE
Anne has had extensive training in Voice Acting and has studied and worked with some of the top coaches in the voiceover industry, including Nancy Wolfson, Dave Wash, Everett Oliver, David Rosenthal, Cristina Milizia, and Joyce Castellanos.
Her completed coursework includes training and coaching for television and radio commercials, radio theater, narration, and animation/character voices, as well as audio books, dialects, industrial work, demo production, and marketing. She is also skilled with teleprompter and ear prompter equipment.
ASSOCIATIONS & MEMBERSHIPS
Anne is a current member of the World Voices Organization, as well as a current board member of the SoCal Media Pros. She previously served as a board member of both the Southern California chapter of the Media Communications Association-international, and the LA/Orange County chapter of Media Communications Association-international. She served as President of the Board of Directors for the Media Alliance of Orange County from 2011-2013.
