Are you losing work due to Audio Quality?

In this episode of Teachable Moments with Anne Ganguzza, Anne talks about the importance of having broadcast-quality audio from your home studio. High-quality audio is a must in order to be even considered for a voice-over job, if you have anything less than perfect audio, you'll be overlooked and won't book work.

It's super important today, especially given the craziness of the pandemic, that our home studios are able to produce great sound. And there's a lot of factors that are involved in that.

The first of which is your equipment which, you get what you pay for. And of course your recording environment. You could have the best equipment in the world but if it's not in a proper recording environment it's really not gonna do you a whole lotta good.

So those two things are very important. Also, think about the ability to be able to connect with your clients in a way that they feel comfortable connecting with you. Some of that is with other studios with Source Connect, or with ipDTL. These are things that I think you really need to have secured in order to really get work today.

Having great audio will make you feel more confident when you are putting out auditions. You'll know that your audio is great and you don't have to worry about your audio not being up to standards.

Much love and Keep on rockin' your biz!

XOXO,

Anne
