There are moments in a career that make you pause, reflect, and appreciate the path that brought you here. Receiving the news of my 2026 SOVAS Award nominations is one of those moments. I’m honored to share that I’ve been nominated in eight categories for e-learning narration and corporate demo production, along with a nomination for my work as producer and host of the VO BOSS Podcast.
Honoring the Talent Behind the Demos
One of the greatest joys of my work is helping voice actors shape their sound through targeted coaching and custom demo creation. This year’s nominations highlight the remarkable talent of seven incredible voice artists:
Tara Kulkarni, Chris Vallencourt, TJ Walser, Bonnie Marie Williams, Carmen Williams, Alan Cohen, and Lorraine Crowston
Each of these voice actors brought dedication, curiosity, and a commitment to growth into the studio. Watching their performances evolve—from initial script exploration to polished, market-ready reads—has been inspiring. These nominations are as much theirs as they are mine.

A Special Nod to the VO BOSS Podcast
I’m also deeply grateful for the nomination for Best Producer/Host for the VO BOSS episode -featuring the exceptional Tolulope Kolade. In our episode, Connecting Across Continents: The Growth and Power of African Voiceover, we explored how distance doesn’t change who we are as working voice actors. Across continents, we share the same foundations: resilience, intentional branding, and strategic business practices that elevate our craft.

Collaboration That Makes It All Possible
Behind every strong demo is great engineering, and I’m lucky to partner with John Chominsky, whose technical expertise and creative ear elevate every project we take on together. His work plays a crucial role in shaping demos that truly showcase an actor’s range and marketability.
Gratitude for the Voiceover Community
Each year, the SOVAS Awards remind us of the power of community in the voiceover industry. I’m continually inspired by the talent around me and the passion that drives so many to improve, experiment, and push the craft forward. Congratulations to all of the 2026 nominees.
A heartfelt thank-you also goes to Joan Baker and Rudy Gaskins for their tireless dedication to uplifting our industry. Their leadership continues to create opportunities for voice actors at every stage of their careers.
Looking Ahead
This season is a meaningful reminder of why I love what I do—empowering talent, producing demos that help careers grow, and contributing to a community built on artistry and generosity. I’m grateful, inspired, and excited for what’s ahead.
Onward, upward, and always with gratitude.
