So a lot of times in order to be more conversational, we need to dissipate the energy in our bodies when we're speaking.
Because sometimes when we're just reading and we're focusing on the copy, we're not really physicating or moving our bodies. We're simply putting all of that energy into our voice in order to form the words. You want to dissipate that energy, make it sound more natural. So like an ebb and a flow, a fast and a slow, a lot of times you can use your hands like I'm using right now.
Think about using your hands to really talk as well as shrugging your shoulders to just kind of relax things. Especially on tag lines or phrases that may sound or are written a little bit more salesy. You can just say a relaxed "Here's my tagline" instead of the formal"Here's my tagline".
So, shrug the shoulders, it really helps you to relax, it helps you to dissipate that energy so it's not all right up here in the mouth and so that it's more using your body in order to express the story of the copy.
Much love and Keep on rockin' your biz!
XOXO,
Anne
