I really had a great time putting together this little album by Laura McCollough. Such a pretty little album, just bursting with lots of vivid colors and sparkly bling - so appropriate for the spring season. It just makes me happy when I look at it! I got to use a bunch of great new products from Prima and I learned a new distressing technique using my exacto knife and corregated cardboard. Cool idea Laura - Thanks! I also got to go back to some old tried and true techniques like stenciling and using Magic Mesh! And, I just can't resist playing with one of my favorite products - Stickles!!! I have now resolved to keep my Stickles within reach and use them on more projects! The class was so much fun - I got to meet some great new friends who I hope to scrap with again real soon.
I just love the concept of the album - Random Thoughts - It's just such a great way to capture your feelings and emotions during a particular phase of your life. I will enjoy going back in a few years and reading this to see how my feelings and thoughts have changed - or not! My new personal scrapbooking goal is to use recent photos whenever possible, and, even though I may love a particular photo, never to use it more than once in my scrapbooks. This forces me to get out and take more photos (which has never been a problem for me), but more importantly, it reminds me to get out and live life, and CREATE more memories to share!
